Public Affairs Manager, Natalia Martinez, is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the public affairs strategies for Brooks City-Base. Natalia manages media relations and marketing activities as well as local, state, and federal legislative initiatives for the organization. Natalia also develops and nurtures relationships with external stakeholders, serves as liaison with federal, state and local government agencies, and oversees public relations and government relations consultants and contractors. Previously, as EB-5 Program Coordinator within the organization, Natalia acted as a facilitator, organizer and communications manager for the Brooks City-Base Regional Center. Having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University with a double concentration in International Business and Marketing as well as a minor in Economics and Mandarin Chinese, Natalia has also collaborated with several economy-enhancing organizations in the Southwest area, such as the International Trade Center and Bexar County. In the past, Natalia has played a role in international consulting as an attaché fostering Texan-Chinese relationships. Among other areas of experience is her previous work in Shanghai, China; there, she studied at one of the most prestigious universities in Asia (Fudan University) and held a marketing strategist position at the largest fuel cell provider in the world: Singaporean renewable energy consortium, Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies.
