Brooks City-Base and District 3 Councilwoman Letiicia Ozuna Welcome Carenet Healthcare Services to Brooks City-Base

(San Antonio, TX)  Brooks City-Base President and CEO Leo Gomez and San Antonio City Councilmember Leticia Ozuna (District 3)  announced today that Carenet Healthcare Services will establish a state-of-the-art healthcare support center on the Brooks City-Base campus.

Leo Gomez Selected as Brooks Development Authority President & CEO

San Antonio, TX – The Board of Directors of the Brooks Development Authority (BDA), the organization responsible for the management and continued redevelopment of Brooks City-Base, has selected Leo Gomez to serve as the new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Brooks Development Authority Welcomes Two New Board Members and CFO

San Antonio, TX  - The Brooks Development Authority (BDA), the organization responsible for the management and continued redevelopment of Brooks City-Base, welcomed two new board members and a new Chief Financial Officer to its leadership team.  The San Antonio City Council appointed Mr. Jesse Hereford on December 12, 2012 to fill the expired District 10 position.  Mr. Mark Pacheco was appointed to fill the expired District 5 position on January 10, 2013.  In addition, The Brooks Development Authority hired Mr. Milo Nitschke to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Nexolon America Breaks Ground at Brooks City-Base

San Antonio, TX – Nexolon America broke ground today on it new manufacturing headquarters at Brooks City-Base in San Antonio.  The $100 million facility will build high-efficiency solar panels for operations here and throughout North and South America, including solar farms for CPS Energy that will produce 400 megawatts of power.

New Board Members Appointed to Brooks Development Authority

San Antonio - The San Antonio City Council appointed three new members to the Brooks Development Authority (BDA) Board of Directors, which governs and directs the redevelopment of Brooks City-Base.  Iñigo Arzac and Margaret Anaglia were both appointed on October 4, 2012 to represent the Mayor’s office and District 2 respectively; Manuel Villa was appointed on November 1, 2012 to represent District 6.
